RESOLUTION NO. 11,519
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT WITH
RISK MANAGEMENT RESOURCES TO PROVIDE WORKERS'
COMPENSATION ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES TO THE
CITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a request for proposal for Workers' Compensation Third Party
Administrator services was issued with a due date of April 30, 2003. Two proposals
were received in response to that request, and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive proposal was received from
Risk Management Resources in the amount of Seventy-four Thousand Dollars
($74,000.00) as a flat annual fee, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Risk
Management Resources to provide administrative services for the City's self- insured
Workers' Compensation Program for the period from July 1, 2003, to June 30, 2004, at an
annual rate of Seventy -four Thousand Dollars ($74,000.00).
Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in 2003 City Budget line item
for Workers' Compensation costs.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

1 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
4 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
5 of such inconsistency.
6 Section 5. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
7 adoption.
