A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
COMMISSION ON CHILDREN YOUTH AND FAMILIES; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby appointed as members of the
Commission on Children Youth and Families:
COMMISSION ON CHILDREN YOUTH AND FAMILIES
Norith Ellison, appointed to serve a two -year term as Substance Abuse expert, said term expiring
on February 28, 2005.
Reverend Kathy Findley, appointed to serve a two -year term as Domestic Violence expert, said
term expiring on February 28, 2005.
Judy Magness, appointed to serve a three -year term as LR School Board representative, said
term expiring on February 28, 2006.
Mary Paal, appointed to serve a one -year term as an At -Large representative, said term expiring
on February 28, 2004.
Jeanette Perdue, appointed to serve a three -year term as an At -Large representative, said term
expiring on February 28, 2006.
Thomas "Mac" Smith, appointed to serve a two -year term as an At -Large representative, said
term expiring on February 28, 2005.
Max Snowden, appointed to serve a three -year term as Juvenile Justice expert, said term
expiring on February 28, 2006.
Chara Stewart, appointed to serve a one -year term as Public Health expert, said term expiring
on February 28, 2004.
Christa Washington, appointed to serve a one -year term as an At -Large representative, said term
expiring on February 28, 2004.
Dr. Leanne Whiteside - Mansell, appointed to serve a two -year term as Early Childhood
Education expert, said term expiring on February 28, 2005.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
