114400 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 11,440 0 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 ENTER INTO CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ADULT SUBSTANCE 5 ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES FOR LITTLE ROCK 6 RESIDENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing residential 9 treatment services to enhance public safety and community building for Little Rock 10 residents, and 11 WHEREAS, the City advertised a formal Bid No. 02 -309 to solicit proposals for 12 residential substance abuse treatment services, and 13 WHEREAS, a review committee met and reviewed the proposals submitted, 14 determined the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and recommends the 15 organization listed below for a contract award. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contract with the 19 following organization for residential substance abuse treatment services: 20 1. ADH- Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention $233,000.00 21 Section 2. Funds for these programs are from FUTURE - Little Rock tax revenue 22 specified for prevention, intervention, and treatment programs, account number 105- 23 035 -T118. 24 Section 3. The term of the contract is for February 5, 2003 to December 31, 2003. 25 Section 4. Severability. Section S. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
