11-25-9772 Board of Directors Room City Hall - 500 W. Markham Little Rock, Arkansas November 25, 1997 - 4:30 P.M. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, reconvened from the November 18, 1997, regular meeting with Mayor Jim Dailey presiding and the following Directors present: Directors Wilson, Hinton, Cazort, Keck, Joyce, Wyrick, Kumpuris, Kelly, and Adcock - total 9; Absent - Director Hodges - total 1. With a quorum present, Mayor Dailey called to order the reconvened meeting and announced the purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants and make appointments to the Little Rock Planning Commission. However, due to the absence of Director Hodges who was in court, the Board would not make the appointments until Tuesday, December 2, 1997, but would conduct public interviews of the applicants for appointment to the Planning Commission at this time. Director Hodges would be provided a video tape of the interviews. Director Wilson said she would have to leave early and asked for a copy of the video also. Mayor Dailey stated that each interview would be limited to ten (10) minutes - three (3) minutes for presentation by applicant, and seven (7) minutes for questions by Board members. Applicants interviewed were: Doyle Daniel; Mizan Rahman; Suzanne McCarthy; Willie Lee Brooks, Jr.; Rohn Muse; Lynn Warren; Doris Jones - Wright; Judith Faust; Obray Nunnley, Jr.; Richard Downing; and Norma Floyd. (Note: Betty B. Davis was out of town and could not be present for the interviews) (Director Hodges enrolled at 4:45 o'clock P.M.) (Director Wilson was excused at 5:30 o'clock P.M.) At the conclusion of the interviews, the reconvened meeting was adjourned at 6:00 o'clock P.M. with the Board of Directors to meet again in regular session on Tuesday, December 2, 1997, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. (Due to the Christmas lighting ceremony at the River Market at 6:00 P.M., the Board meeting was rescheduled to 7:00 P.M.)
