A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF COLONEL GLENN
ROAD AND LAWSON ROAD RIGHTS OF WAY IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas on November 21, 2002 requesting that the Little Rock Board of Directors vacate and
abandon a portion of Colonel Glenn Road and Lawson Road rights of way, lying within the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, as dedicated by quitclaim deed now appearing of record in Deed Book
1, Page 75, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
reserved public utility easements located in said street rights of way.
RIGHT OF WAY ABANDONMENT DESCRIPTION ATTACHED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at a meeting of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock (6:00 p.m.) On
the 7`h day of January 2003..
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and have in general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
