4 ARK., RESOLUTION NO. 11,367 (SEPTEMBER 3,
5 2002) TO TECHNICALLY CORRECT SECTION 1 OF
6 THE RESOLUTION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Consolidated Planning Committee has reviewed the proposed
9 uses of anticipated Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) for 2003, and
10 has determined that there are certain reallocations of eight hundred thousand dollars
11 ($800,000.00) from the 2000, 2001 and 2002 CDBG funds, and
12 WHEREAS, such reallocation from the amounts originally set forth in Little
13 Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 (September 4, 2001) and Little Rock, Ark., Resolution
14 No. 10,813 (May 2, 2000), is appropriate after a public hearing has been held to discuss
15 this potential reallocation of 2000, 2001 and 2002 CDBG funds in accordance with
16 procedures approved by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development
17 (HUD),
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,367 (September 3,
21 2002) is hereby amended to read as follows to technically correct the section:
22 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the following
23 reallocation of 2000, 2001 and 2002 Community Development
24 Block Grant Funds:
25 (A) HUD Shortfall for 2003 Projects $ 200,000
26 (B) Martin Luther King Heritage Enrichment Center 103,250
27 (C) Demolition 66,000

8 Section 2. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, subdivision,
9 paragraph, subparagraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is
10 declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
11 shall not affect the remaining provisions of this resolution, as if such invalid or
12 unconstitutional provision was not originally a part of this resolution.
13 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, particularly Little Rock,
14 Ark., Resolution No. 11,367 (September 3, 2002), Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121
15 (September 4, 2001), and Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 10,813 (May 2, 2000), bylaws,
16 and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
17 such inconsistency.
18 Section 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
