11367r 1 RESOLUTION NO. 11,367 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE REALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY 4 DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE 2002 YEAR; AND FOR 5 OTHER PURPOSES. 6 7 WHEREAS, the Consolidated Planning Committee has reviewed the proposed uses 8 of anticipated Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) for 2003, and has 9 determined that there are certain reallocations of eight hundred thousand dollars to ($800,000.00) from the 2002 CDBG funds, and 11 WHEREAS, such reallocation from the amounts originally set forth in Little Rock, 12 Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 (September 4, 2001), is appropriate after a public hearing has 13 been held to discuss this potential reallocation of 2002 CDBG funds in accordance with 14 procedures approved by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the following reallocation of 2002 18 Community Development Block Grant Funds: 19 (A) HUD Shortfall for 2003 Projects $ 200,000 20 (B) Martin Luther King Heritage Enrichment Center 103,250 21 (C) Demolition 66,000 22 (D) Demolition of apartment buildings at 9508/9512 Chicot Road 50,000 23 (E) Meals on Wheels 26,034 24 (F) Infrastructure 354,716 25 (i) 42nd Street (Holt to Elam Phase II) 20,716 26 (ii) 26th Street (Harrison to Boulevard Ave.) 315,000 27 (iii) 83rd Street right of way 19,000 [PAGE 1 OF 21 R w1ution Reallocation of 2002 CDBG Funds 0 0 1 Section 2 Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 2 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 3 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions 4 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or 5 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. 6 Section 3 Repealer.
