3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
4 TWO MOVING TRACTORS FROM LITTLE ROCK EQUIPMENT SALES;
5 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has determined that it needs one 4-
8 wheel drive tractor with mounted boom mower, and one 4 -wheel drive tractor with a 3-
9 gang flail mower, and
10 WHEREAS, these purchases are to replace vehicles that have been in service since
11 the 1980s, and
12 WHEREAS, pursuant to properly advertised requests for proposal, it was
13 determined that Little Rock Equipment Sales was the lowest responsible and responsive
14 bidder to RFP No. 02257, and to RFP No. 02258,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase one 4 -wheel drive tractor
18 with mid -mount boom mower, and one 4 -wheel drive tractor with 3 -gang flail mower,
19 from Little Rock Equipment Sales in an amount not to exceed one hundred and nineteen
20 thousand seven hundred and seventy dollars ($119,770.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for these purchases are available in Account No. 222- 360 -7118-
22 7060 -10.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
26 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
27 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
