113351 2 3 4 5 6 7 S 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 1s 19 20 21 22 23 6 0 RESOLUTION NO. 11,335 A RESOLUTION TO SET AN AUGUST 22, 2002, HEARING BEFORE THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED EXTENSION OF THE CITY'S EXTRATERRITORIAL PLANNING JURISDICTION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Board of Directors approved a resolution to consider the extension of its extraterritorial planning jurisdiction and an intent to zone in an area referred to as the Crystal Valley, Burlingame Valley, West Fourche, Barrett and Buzzard Mountain Planning District, and WHEREAS, this plan was the subject of public hearings in the community, and discussions before the Little Rock Planning Commission, and has been forwarded to the Board of Directors for final action, and WHEREAS, after it was forwarded to the Board of Directors from the Planning Commission with a recommendation that it be approved the Board learned that the proposed plan had not actually be published, and WHEREAS, publication has now occurred, but in an abundance of caution and a desire to comply with the spirit of state planning statutes the Board desires to make sure that there is an additional hearing before the Little Rock Planning Commission since the date of publication of the boundaries of this proposed extraterritorial area, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 24 Section 1. The proposed extension of the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction in the 25 area referred to as Crystal Valley, Burlingame Valley, West Fourche, Barrett and Buzzard 26 Mountain Planning Area, as set forth in File No. Z -7164 and MSP- 02 -01, and LU 02- 17 -01, [PAGE 1 OF 21 Resolution Nearing on August 2; 200; by Planning Commission of Extraterritorial Planning Issue I LU 02- 21 -01, LU 02- 22 -01. LU 02- 29 -01, and LU 02- 30 -01, and any associated plans 2 included with this matters, shall be considered one additional time by the Little Rock 3 Planning Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting on August 22, 2001, and after 4 such hearing shall be returned to the Little Rock Board of Directors with a 5 recommendation for final action. 6 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 7 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 8 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions 9 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or 10 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. 11 Section 3. Repealer.
