11333• 2002167068 08/ • 08/2802 09:55:52 AM Filed 8 Recorded in - Official Records of CAROLYN STALEY - __- RESOLUTION NO. 11.333 CLERK A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION IN DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING LOT AND AN EDUCATION ADDITION FOR PARKWAY PLACE BAPTIST CHURCH LOCATED ON THE R -2 ZONED PROPERTY AT 300 PARKWAY PLACE DRIVE (Z- 4650 -B). WHEREAS, an application was filed by Parkway Place Baptist Church with the Little Rock Planning Commission for a conditional use permit to allow for construction of a parking lot and an education addition on the R -2 zoned property located at 300 Parkway Place Drive; and WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its May 9, 2002 meeting, voted to deny the application for a conditional use permit by a vote of 4 ayes, 3 noes and 4 absent; and WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined that action to be inappropriate, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in denying a conditional use permit to allow for construction of a parking lot and an education addition on the R -2 zoned Parkway Place Baptist Church property located at 300 Parkway Place Drive is hereby rescinded. SECTION'22. Said conditional use permit is hereby approved subject to compliance with the screening and buffer, Public Works and Utility Comments specified in the Planning Commission minute record of this item; File No. Z- 4650 -B, dated May 9, 2002. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
