A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO JEWELL
ENGINEERS, P.A. FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF HOLT
STREET (36TH TO 42ND) AND 42ND STREET (HOLT
STREET TO ELAM STREET)
WHEREAS, Improvements are needed at Holt Street (36th to 42nd) and 42nd Street (Holt Street to
Elam Street) to improve safety, traffic flow and enhance pedestrian access,
AND, Jewell Engineers, P.A. was selected through a Request for Qualifications process to provide
engineering services for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an agreement
with Jewell Engineers, P.A. for the design of improvements to Holt Street (36th to 42nd) and 42nd
Street (Holt Street to Elam Street).
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from CDBG- C00 -G512. Amount for engineering
Services: $75,141.00 ($68,310.00 plus 10% contingencies).
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
