A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE
PROVISION OF SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AND
RECREATION PROGRAMS IN LITTLE ROCK FOR 2002.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has been committed to prevention, intervention and
treatment programs to enhance public safety, community - building, and youth development; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock released a Request for Proposal to obtain
organizations to provide summer youth employment and recreation programs in Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, a selection committee reviewed the proposals, met, determined the lowest
responsible bidders, and recommends the following programs for contract awards:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following programs are awarded contracts for the provision of 2002
summer programs for youth, subject to successful contract negotiations with the City:
