11261I RESOLUTION NO. 11,261 N 3 A RESOLUTION TO ALLOCATE 2002 HOME PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS; 4 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 5 6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 (September 4, 7 2001), the City submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development a list 8 of projected uses of federal monies for various projects reviewed by the City's Citizen 9 Participation Committee, the Consolidated Planning Committee, and the Project Review 10 Committee, and 11 WHEREAS, consistent with this list of projected uses and after two public hearings 12 were held to best determine how to use these funds, the Board of Directors has received a 13 recommendation that two particular projects receive funding with 2002 HOME funds, 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The following two projects are approved for the use of undesignated 17 CHDO 2002 Home Investment Partnership Program funds: 18 (A) Accessible Space, Inc. $ 208,787.00; 19 (B) Black Community Developers $164,100.00. 20 Section 2. The Board expressly notes the following about these 21 recommendations: 22 (A) The award to Accessible Space, Inc., was noted in Section 2 (A) of 23 Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 (September 4, 2001), but the 24 project was not able to go forward at that time because that grantee 25 did not provide the total funding needed to complete the project; [PAGE 1 OF 21 Resolution Allocation of 2002 HOME Funds 0 0 1 (B) The award for Black Community Developers was noted in Section 2 2 (F) of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 (September 4, 2001), as 3 CHDO set - aside. 4 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 5 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 6 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions 7 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or 8 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. 9 Section 5. Repealer.
