112140 0 RESOLUTION NO.11,214 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACCEPTANCE OF A REVISED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A 6' X 15' (75 SQ. FEET) GROUND - MOUNTED SIGN TO BE ERECTED ON LOT 3, HAMPTON -GOFF SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT 1219 SOUTH SHACKLEFORD ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, an application was filed by KDA Real Estate, LLC with the Little Rock Planning Commission for a revised Conditional Use Permit to allow for a ground- mounted sign to be erected on the 0-2 zoned property described as Lot 3, Hampton -Goff Subdivision located at 1219 South Shackleford Road; and WHEREAS, the proposed ground- mounted sign was to be twenty (20) feet in height and one-hundred twenty -five (125) square feet in area; and WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its November 29, 2001 meeting, denied the application for a revised Conditional Use Permit, as filed; and WHEREAS, KDA Real Estate, LLC has appealed the action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in denying that revised Conditional Use Permit; and WHEREAS, the application has been amended to request a ground - mounted sign of six (6) feet in height and seventy -five (75) square feet in area which more nearly conforms to the sign standards for office zoned property; and WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined it is appropriate to approve the revised Conditional Use Permit, as amended by the applicant. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in denying an application for a revised Conditional Use Permit to allow for a ground- mounted sign to be erected on the 0-2 zoned property described as Lot 3, Hampton -Goff Subdivision located at 1219 South Shackleford Road is hereby rescinded. SECTION 2. Said revised Conditional Use Permit as amended to allow for a ground- mounted sign not to exceed six (6) feet in height and seventy -five (75) feet in area is hereby approved. 0 0 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
