RESOLUTION NO. 11, 21J4l A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXTENSION OF THE CONTRACT WITH ARKANSAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL (ACH) TO PROVIDE ADOLESCENT OUTPATIENT AND LIMITED RESIDENTIAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES TO LITTLE ROCK RESIDENTS AND STUDENTS ATTENDING LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOLS. WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock.has been committed to prevention, intervention and treatment programs to enhance public safety, community - building, and youth development; and, WHEREAS, the current contract with Arkansas Children's Hospital- Insure the Children had an option for two additional one -year extensions based on their performance and Little Rock Board of Directors appropriations; and, WHEREAS, calendar year 2002 is the second one -year extension conditionally authorized. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contract with Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) for an additional year, to provide adolescent outpatient and limited residential substance abuse treatment services to Little Rock residents and students attending Little Rock School District schools. SECTION 2. This final contract term shall be for one year, from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002. SECTION 3.
