A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO RICK FURR
EXCAVATING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE II OF
THE APPLE BLOSSOM SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock and the College Station Community Development Corporation
obtained a grant from the Economic Development of Arkansas Fund Commission to develop 22 lots in
the new Apple Blossom subdivision on the southeastern edge of College Station,
AND, Rick Furr Excavating submitted the lowest bid meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an agreement
with Rick Furr Excavating in an amount not to exceed $190,420.00 ($173,108.75 plus 10%
contingencies) for the construction of Apple Blossom Phase II street, drainage, water and sewerage
improvements.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from a grant from the Economic Development of
Arkansas Fund Commission, deposited in fund 700 - 220 -13076.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
