RESOLUTION NO. 11,155
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMISSION OF THE 2002
4 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
s HOUSING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE USE OF CDBG,
6 HOME, AND ESG ENTITLEMENT FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City has access to Community Development Block Grant
io (CDBG), HOME, and ESG funds on an annual basis, and
11 WHEREAS, the use of these monies mandates that an action plan be
12 submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development by November
13 15, 2001, in accordance with Title I of the Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable
14 Housing Act of 19090, and
is WHEREAS, after extensive public discussion and citizen participation,
16 including neighborhood meetings, and a September 4, 2001, public hearing, a plan
17 has been developed for submission,
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 2002 Action Plan
21 for the use of CDBG, HOME, and ESG Entitlement Funds, to the U.S. Department
22 of Housing and Urban Development, by November 15, 2001, in accordance with the
23 provisions of the Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990.
24 Section 2. The projected use of these funds were approved by adoption of
25 Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 11,121 on September 4, 2001.

1 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
2 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
3 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
4 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
5 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
6 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with
7 this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
