A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO JOYNER,
BURKE, AND FORD CONSTRUCTION FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS:
LORIE, DEPRIEST, CHICOT, YORKWOOD, CHICOT AND
GEYER SPRINGS
WHEREAS, drainage improvements along Little Fourche Creek were selected as 1998 Bond projects,
AND, Joyner, Burke, & Ford Construction submitted the lowest bid meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an agreement
with Joyner, Burke, and Ford Construction in an amount not to exceed $694,127.00 ($631,024.74 plus
10% contingencies) for the construction of Lorie, Depriest, Chicot, Yorkwood, and Geyer Springs
drainage improvements.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from the 1998 Bond Fund, accounts 304 220 A127,
304 220 A252, and 304 220 A122.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
