3 A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER
4 TO ASSIST WITH VARIOUS WATER UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
5 AT THE ARKANSAS GOVERNOR'S MANSION RENOVATION;
6 TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ASSIST WITH THE
7 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, renovations are currently being done at the Arkansas Governor's
10 Mansion within the corporate limits of the City, and
11 WHEREAS, there is certain work to be done on the mansion grounds in order to
12 complete the renovation of this structure which serves not only as the official residence of
13 the state's Chief Executive, but also as a meeting place for various groups brought to the
14 City for cultural, economic development, and other purposes,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of Central Arkansas Water (CAW) are
18 requested to provide assistance with various water utility improvements required for the
19 renovation of the Governor's Mansion of the State of Arkansas.
20 Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to assist in the coordination of efforts
21 to provide assistance by CAW, and where appropriate by various departments of the City
22 of Little Rock, in order to complete this renovation effort.
