RESOLUTION NO. 11,136
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK
PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION IN DENYING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A CHURCH
PARKING LOT ON THE R -2 ZONED PROPERTIES AT
1701, 1711, 1801, 1811 NAPA VALLEY DRIVE.

WHEREAS, an application was filed by Fellowship Bible
Church with the Little Rock Planning Commission for a
conditional use permit to allow for a church parking lot to be
developed on the R -2 zoned properties at 1701, 1711, 1801, 1811
Napa Valley Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its
July 12, 2001 meeting, denied the application by virtue of a
vote of 4 ayes, 4 noes and 3 absent; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined
that action to be inappropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning
Commission in denying a conditional use permit for a church
parking lot to be located on the R -2 zoned properties at 1701,
1711, 1801, 1811 Napa Valley Drive is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. The conditional use permit is approved with the
conditions proposed by staff and by the applicant as detailed in
the July 12, 2001 Planning Commission minutes, provided that if
at any time after a period of one year these requirements are
deemed by staff not to be sufficiently maintained to fulfill
their purpose, then staff may bring this matter back to the
Board of Directors for the imposition of more definite standards
to assure that these conditions are fulfilled.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
