3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH LANDERS CHEVROLET FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 4WD
5 ONE -HALF TON SURBURBAN /CARRYALLS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE
6 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Fire Department is in need of two (2) 4 wheel drive one -half ton
1 I Suburban /Carryalls, and
12 WHEREAS, after complying with City bidding procedures, the lowest responsible bidder
13 meeting minimum specifications is Landers Chevrolet.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Landers
17 Chevrolet for the purchase of two (2) 4 wheel drive one -half ton Suburban /Carryalls in the amount of
18 Fifty -nine Thousand Two Hundred Eighty and no/100 Dollars ($54,860.00) for the City of Little Rock
19 Fire Department.
20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2001 Fleet Carryover Replacement
21 Account No. 210 - 360 -A485.
