A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTERINTO A CONTRACT WITH NEWMAN TRAFFIC SIGNS
FOR REFLECTIVE SIGN SHEETING MATERIALS FOR THE
TRAFFIC CONTROL SECTION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of reflective sign sheeting materials for its
Traffic Control Section, and
WHEREAS, after complying with City bidding procedures, the lowest responsible bid was
submitted by Newman Traffic Signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Newman
Traffic Signs for reflective sign sheeting materials for the Traffic Control Section of the Public Works
Department, in the amount of One Hundred Two Thousand Thirty -four and 501100 Dollars
($102,034.50).
Section 2. Funds are available for this contract in Account No. 200- 220 - 2250 -2150.
