4 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
5 TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE
6 PROVISION OF 2001 SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
7 AND RECREATION PROGRAMS IN LITTLE ROCK.
10 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has been committed to prevention, intervention and
1 I treatment programs to enhance public safety, community - building, and youth development; and,

13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock released a Request for Proposal to obtain
14 organizations to provide summer youth employment and recreation programs in Little Rock; and,
15
16 WHEREAS, a selection committee reviewed the proposals, met, determined the lowest
17 responsible bidders, and recommends the following programs for contract awards:

19 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
22 SECTION 1. The following programs are awarded contracts for the provision of 2001
23 summer programs for youth, subject to successful contract negotiations with the City:
