RESOLUTION NO. 11.025
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH THE CLIMATIC
CORPORATION TO PURCHASE AIR CONDITION EQUIPMENT FOR
THE RIVER MARKET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, during the past two years the air conditioning system at the River
Market has been overloaded and it was determined that additional units were needed to
meet the necessary demands of the market, and
WHEREAS, after a competitive bid process, it was determined that The Climatic
Corporation provided the lowest responsible and responsive bid.
NOW TEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase one 120 -Ton condenser
unit and two 60 -ton air handler units, for an amount not to exceed eighty eight thousand
eight hundred and ninety five dollars ($88,895.00), from The Climatic Corporation.
Section 2. Funds for these purchases are available in Account No. 100- 005 -1000-
L 11
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared
or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provision of this resolution are herby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
