1 RESOLUTION NO. 10,996
2 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 20, 2001, AS THE DATE
3 FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON WHETHER TO ESTABLISH
4 CHENAL VALLEY MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS MULTI -
5 PURPOSE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 9; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, property owners who claim to be all of the owners of record title of real
9 property located within a proposed municipal property owners improvement district as
10 described in attached Exhibit A, and
11 WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held prior to the creation of this district, which
12 is to be known as Chenal Valley Municipal Property Owners Multi- purpose Improvement
13 District No. 9,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors shall conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM in the
17 Board Meeting Room on the second floor of City Hall at 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
18 Arkansas, on Tuesday; February 20, 2001; on the question of whether to approve the creation
19 of Chenal Valley Municipal Property Owners Multi- Purpose Improvement District No. 9; all
20 persons wishing to be heard on this issue will be heard at that time.
21 Section 2. The basic description of the boundaries for this proposed district are
22 attached as Exhibit A to this resolution, and the basic list of improvements is attached as Exhibit
23 B.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
25 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
26 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the
27 resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
28 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
30 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
31 inconsistency.
