1 RESOLUTION NO. 10,989
2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PURCHASE OF 13 POLICE
3 SEDANS FROM THE STATE CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER
4 PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, the City periodically wishes to purchase thirteen full sized police sedans
6 from the State Contract since to do so provides savings to the taxpayers, and since state law
7 permits such purchases,
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
9 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase 13 full-size police sedans from
11 Landers Ford pursuant to the 2001 State Contract for an amount not to exceed two hundred and
12 seventy nine thousand seven hundred and eight six dollars ($279,876.00).
13 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from Account No. 600- 360 - 6020 -6021-
14 7060 -10.
15 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item', sentence,
16 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
17 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the
18 resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
19 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
20 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,- or parts of the same, that are
21 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
22 inconsistency.
