WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing prevention, intervention and treatment services to enhance public safety, community - building, and youth development for Little Rock youth, WHEREAS, the current contracts have an option for two additional one -year extensions based on their performance and Little Rock Board of Directors appropriations; and, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contracts with the following organizations for gang intervention services for youth: Operations Program Budget LR Boys /Girls Club - Central 34,784 LR Boys /Girls Club- (Male)- Southwest 34,784 LR Housing Authority -- East (Female) 50,000 LR Housing Authority --- Central (Male) 50,000 LR Housing Authority — East (Male) 50,000 Camp Aldersgate 35,000 Step Up (Male) -- Southwest 49,000 Step Up (Female) — Southwest 49,000 BCD (Female) -- Midtown 48,900 BCD (Male) — Central 48,900 BCD (Male) — Midtown 48,900 TOTAL $492,458 SECTION 2. The contract's terms shall be for one year, from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001, and may be extended for one additional one -year term upon satisfactory performance and mutual agreement of the parties. SECTION 3.
