RESOLUTION NO. 10,947
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE LITTLE ROCK
CONVENTION AND VISITOR'S BUREAU FORMAL
PROPOSAL TO HOST THE 2001 FALL CONFERENCE
OF THE ARKANSAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE.
WHEREAS, The Arkansas Municipal League (AML) periodically convenes a Fall Conference
in various cities around the state and,
WHEREAS, The three day conference provides a variety of educational training and social
opportunities for municipal officials, and
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Convention and Visitor's Bureau will make a formal proposal to
host the 2001 Arkansas Municipal League Fall Conference and,
WHEREAS, A city must be a member of the Arkansas Municipal League to bid to host the 2001
fall Conference, and,
WHEREAS, A Resolution by the host city Board of Directors is required in order for the city to
be considered to host the Arkansas Municipal League Fall Conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1: The City of Little Rock will support the Little Rock Convention and Visitor's
Bureau formal proposal to host the 2001 Fall Conference of the Arkansas Municipal League.
