A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF
STRICKLAND COVE STREET BETWEEN BUTLER ROAD AND
THE END OF STRICKLAND STREETS, IN THE STRICKLAND
COVE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 21w Day of July , 2000, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of Strickland Cove Street between Butler Road and the end
of Strickland Streets, in the Strickland Cove Addition to the Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat
Book 17 , Page 21 , in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject,
however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE..BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of.the
Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 5th day of September,
2000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks
in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in
the City of Little Rock.
