RESOLUTION NO. 10, 873
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
4 MANAGER TO PURCHASE FOUR (4) TWENTY-
5 EIGHT CUBIC YARD AUTOMATED SIDE - LOADER
e REFUSE COLLECTION TRUCKS FROM TRI -STATE
7 MACK, INC.; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City needs to purchase additional refuse collection trucks, and
10 WHEREAS, after a competitive bid process Tri-State Mack, Inc., was determined
11 to be the lowest responsible and responsive bidder,
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
13 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase four.twenty eight cubic
15 yard automated side- ]oader..refuse collection trucks from Tri -State Mac, Inc., in art
16 amount not to exceed six hundred and twenty six thousand.nine hundred and two
17 dollars and twenty eight cents ($626,902.28).
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the following accounts:
19 One hundred and fifty four thousand five hundred and forty eight dollars and thirty two
20 cents ($154,548.32) from Account No. 603 - 220 - 2110 - 7060 -10; and, four hundred and
21 seventy two thousand three hundred and fifty three dollars and ninety six cents
22 ($472,353.96) from the Solid Waste Revenue Bond Fund.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, subsection, paragraph,
24 subparagraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or
25 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
26 affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
27 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally
28 a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,
that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.
