RESOLUTION NO. 10,867
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHWESTERN
BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company desires to locate a telephone equipment
station on a portion of City -owned property occupied by Fire Station No. 15 on Kanis Road; and
WHEREAS, the proposed easement is located such that it does not conflict with any
governmental activities; and
WHEREAS, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company offers the sum of one thousand dollars
($1,000) compensation for the easement, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute document granting easement of small
portion of lot to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for purpose of upgrading communications
facilities in the area for total amount of $1,000.
SECTION 2. The legal description of the easement shall be a 20 foot by 30 foot plot of land located
in part of the NW '/< of the NW '/< of Section 11, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, full legal
description attached.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.

A Twenty (20') X Thirty (30') parcel of land located in part of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 11, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 11:
THENCE North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West for a distance of 319.00 feet to a
point;
THENCE North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 490.00 feet to a
point;
THENCE North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 113.00 feet to a
found 1/2" rebar;
THENCE North 02 degrees 56 minutes 50 seconds East for a distance of 233.71 feet to a
set 1/2" rebar & cap for the Point of Beginning;
THENCE North 02 degrees 56 minutes 50 seconds East for a distance of 30.00 feet to a
found 1/2" rebar & cap on the Southerly Right of Way line of Kanis Road;
THENCE South 74 degrees 10 minutes 33 seconds East for a distance of 20.00 feet along
said Right of Way line to a set 1/2" rebar & cap;
