A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE AMBULANCE AUTHORITY,
ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES, ARTS AND
HUMANITIES PROMOTION COMMISSION COMMUNITY
HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD, EDUCATION COMMISSION,
HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION, OAKLAND FATERNAL
CEMETERY BOARD, RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COMMISSION, AND SANITARY SEWER COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as members of
prospective Boards and Commissions:
(a) AMBULANCE AUTHORITY
Mr. Jack Murphy, (Consumer) reappointed to serve a five year term expiring July 21,
2005.
(b) ARK ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The following individuals are hereby reappointed to four year terms, expiring June 30,
2004:
Mr. John Sloan
Ms. Cynthia Brinkley
Mr. Robert L. Shults
Ms. Camefita Smith
The following individuals are hereby appointed to four year terms, expiring June 30, 2004.
Replacing:
Mr. Hugh McDonald Mr. Tom Wright

Mr. French Hill George O'Conner
Ms. Vickie Saviers Mr. Jack Williams
Ms. Libby Sheard, appointed to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Monty Scott, expiring

Mr. John Burks, appointed to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Kenyon Lowe, said term
expiring December 16, 2002.
(d) COMMUNITY HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD
The following individuals are hereby reappointed to serve three years, expiring June 2,
2003:

Ms. Sharlett Craig (CDC) appointed to serve a three year term expiring June 2, 2003,
replacing Mr. Robert Pruitt.
(e) EDUCATION COMMISSION
Ms. Rebecca Tucker, (Atlarge) appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Catherine
Cockrill, said term expiring November 1, 2002.
(f) HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
Mr. Howard Gordon, (Atlarge) reappointed to serve a three year term, expiring June 15,
2003.
(g) OAKLAND FATERNAL CEMETERY
Ms. Geraldine Briggs, reappointed to serve a three year term, expiring June 1, 2003.
(h) RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Ms. Leta Anthony (Ward 2) appointed to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Leon Modeste,
said term expiring March 3, 2002.
Mr. Will Parker (Ward 2 appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Anna Swaim, said
term expiring March 3, 2001
Mr. Armand Delaurell (Ward 4) appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Andra
Nickerson, said term expiring March 3, 2001.
