10769RESOLUTION NO. 10.769 A RESOLUTION TO RESCHEDULE THE PUBLIC HEARING TO MARCH 21, 2000 ON THE PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF 10TH AND 11TH STREETS AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 9 OF ROOTS & COY'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PURSUANT TO ARK. CODE ANN. SEC. 14 -54 -104 (MICHIE 1987). WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 21't day of December, 1999, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of right -of -way (pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. Sec. 24 -54- 104) described as that part of 10`h Street west of Thayer and east of the railroad tracks; that part of 11`h Street west of Jones and east of the railroad tracks; and the alley in Block 9 of the Roots and Coy's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; subject to an casement for public utilities and drainage; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 10,744, adopted January 4, 2000, set the date of public hearing on said petition for February 15, 2000; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the public hearing should be rescheduled to March 21, 2000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition is hereby rescheduled be held at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 21" day of March, 2000. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such rescheduled public hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
