2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
3 EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ARKANSAS ENTERPRISES FOR
4 THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED TO PROVIDE
5 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO APPLICANTS FOR OWNER -
6 OCCUPIED HOUSING ASSISTANCE; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.
8 WHEREAS, the City has identified certain areas as targeted neighborhoods for purposes
9 of implementing a Targeted Neighborhood Enhancement Plan (TNEP) in accordance with state
10 law, but have heard citizens express concerns that they need help to apply properly for access to
11 TNEP funds to assist with their plans to own owner - occupied housing; and
12 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process it was determined that Arkansas
13 Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled submitted a qualifying proposal to provide such
14 technical assistance and should be recommended for this contract.
15 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement, in a form
18 approved by the City Attorney, with Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled,
19 in an amount not to exceed forty one thousand four hundred and fifty nine dollars ($41,459.00),
20 to provide technical assistance to persons that seek TNEP funds for single family owner occupied
21 housing.
22 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Account No. 147-210-216-0822.
