A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY BEAUTIFUL
COMMISSION, EDUCATION COMMISSION,
MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM
COMMISSION, RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COMMMISSION, AND SISTER CITIES COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed or
reappointed as members of the respective Boards and Commissions:
(a) CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION
Mr. Timothy Anderson, appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Carolyn
Lawrence, said term expiring October 19, 2000.
(b) EDUCATION COMMISSION
Mr. Stephen Davis (Private School Rep.), appointed to fill the unexpired term of
Ms. Kay Patton, said term expiring November 1, 2000
(c) MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION
Mr. Carl. H. Moneyhon, reinstated to complete remainder of term expiring
February 21, 2000, also reappointed to a two year term expiring February 21,
2002.
Mr. Douglas MacArthur Jones, reinstated to complete remainder of term expiring
February 21, 2001.
Mr. Sherman Smith, reinstated to complete remainder of term expiring February
21, 2001.
Mr. Jerry Schulz, reinstated to complete remainder of term expiring February 21,
2000, also reappointed to a two year term expiring February 21, 2002.
Mr. Jay McEntire, appointed to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Michael Croy, said
term expiring February 21, 2001.
(d) RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERISTY COMMISSION
Ms. Joyce Newby (Ward 5), appointed to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Jerome
Ngundue (3- 3 -00), and to serve a full three year term expiring March 3, 2003.
(e) SISTER CITIES COMMISSION
Ms. Mary Wohlleb, reappointed to a five year term, expiring January 5, 2005.
Ms. Carmen McHaney, appointed to serve a five year term, replacing Mr. Leon
Matthews, said term expiring January 5, 2005.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in fiill force and effect from and after its
adoption.
