A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A
PORTION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY OF 10TH AND 11TH STREETS AND THE ALLEY ON BLOCK 9 OF
ROOTS & COY ADDITION BETWEEN THAYER AND THE RAILROAD TRACKS IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; PURSUANT TO ARK. CODE ANN. SEC. 14 -54 -104 (MICHIE
1987).
Whereas, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on
the 7 t S tday of December , 1999 , asking the Board ofDirectors to vacate and abandon a portion
of right -of -way (pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. Sec. 14 -54 -104) described as follows:
THAT PART 10TH STREET WEST OF THAYER AND EAST OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS;
THAT PART OF 11TH STREET WEST OF JONES AND EAST OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS,
ALLEY ON BLOCK 9 OF THE ROOTS AND COY ADDITION.
Subject, however, to an easement for public utilities and drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held at the meeting of the Board of Directors
in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 15 th day. of February 2000 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive jewels in a newspaper published
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
