A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE WATER UTILITY EASEMENT TO
LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS ACROSS CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK PROPERTY LOCATED ON IRONTON
CUT -OFF ROAD. - _682
WHEREAS, easement is required for installation of water main to benefit Little
Rock Municipal Water Works.
WHEREAS, water main will be maintained by Little Rock Municipal Water
Works and no buildings or encumbrances may be placed over the easement.
WHEREAS, Little Rock Municipal Water Works will relocate facilities at their
expense if needed for future roadway or landfill construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute easement deeds for the use
of land utilized by City of Little Rock Landfill located on Ironton Cut -Off, legally described as:
A 15 foot wide strip of land located in Section 9, T -1 -S, R -12 -W, the west line of which is
more particularly described as follows: Starting at the SE corner of the SW quarter of the
SE quarter of said Section 9; thence North 3 °46'25" East 518.49 feet; thence South
88 °59'20" West 830.90 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence northwesterly and
northerly 30 feet east of existing center line of roadway a distance of approximately 1,050
lineal feet to the point of TERMINATION, said point being the south termination of an
existing waterline easement recorded in the Office of the Pulaski County Circuit Clerk as
document.number 94- 16040.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
