A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE FAMILY
SERVICE AGENCY TO PROVIDE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
VICTIM OUTREACH SERVICES TO LITTLE ROCK RESIDENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock issued a Request for Proposal for victim outreach
services for Little Rock residents; and, 602
WHEREAS, a five member selection committee identified and recommended the most
qualified applicant for the Domestic Violence Victim Outreach Program Contract; and,
WHEREAS, after reviewing the proposals of the responding agencies the Family Service
Agency was selected to provide designated services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contract negotiations with the
Family Service Agency to provide victim outreach services for the Little Rock Commission
on Domestic Violence.
SECTION 2. The contract's terms shall be for one year from November 1, 1999 to October
31, 2000, and may be extended for one additional one -year period upon satisfactory
performance and mutual agreement of the parties.
SECTION 3. Funding for this contract shall not exceed $43,194.71 and shall come from
Commission on Domestic Violence funds.
