RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AN
ORDINANCE, ADJUSTING RATES FOR WATER PROVIDED BY THE LITTLE
ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, an Ordinance has been filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas adjusting rates
for water provided by the Little Rock Municipal Water Works of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, under the laws of the State of Arkansas, a public
hearing on said Ordinance must be held before enactment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The public hearing on said Ordinance will be
held on Tuesday, November 2, 1999, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of
Directors' Chamber, 2 n Floor, City Hall, Markham and Broadway,
Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication in
a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
