A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH JACK
LANGSTON EXCAVATING FOR OTTER CREEK PARK. 551
WHEREAS, the Stagecoach Joint Venture donated 147 acres of land to the City for
future community park development in 1993; and
WHEREAS, the property provided good opportunities to develop soccer fields,
which would help Parks and Recreation to meet the demand for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a construction contract
with Jack Langston Excavating in the amount of $71,841 for hauling and spreading topsoil
on soccer fields and disturbed areas at Otter Creek Park.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account number 303 - 230 -0753.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
