A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGES TO A WARRANTY
DEED FILED AS DEED NO. 94- 20724, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 5 T
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock conveyed .997 acres of Oakland Fraternal Cemetery to
Little Rock National Cemetery, for use as a cemetery, in Little Rock, Ark. Res. No. 9,127 (March 15,
1994); and
WHEREAS, the Warranty Deed conveying same was filed of record in the Pulaski County
Circuit Clerk's office as Deed No.. 94- 20724; and
WHEREAS, the United States Office of Veteran's Affair's has contacted the City Attorney's
office to change the name of the Grantee and to add to the legal description of the property originally
conveyed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board hereby authorizes the changes to the grantee's name and legal
description as set forth in the marked -up copy of the deed attached hereto, correcting the Warranty Deed
filed of record in the Pulaski County Circuit Chancery Clerks' office as No. 94- 20724.

That the CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, a municipal corporation created and organized under the
laws of the State of Arkansas, Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1) and
other good and valuable consideration listed below, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
does hereby grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the USA or its assigns, Grantee, and unto its
successors and assigns forever, the following described lands in the County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas, to -wit:
All of that part of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of
Section 11, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West right -of -way line of the C.R.I. & P. Railroad with
the South line of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section
11, Township 1 North, Range 12 West (said point being 201.19 feet West of the Southeast
corner of said SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 11, T -1 -N, R -12 -W; thence South 89 °25' West
along the South line of said SE 1/4, SE 1/4 a distance of 34.1 feet to the Southeast corner
(concrete monument) of the National Cemetery property; thence North 00 °29' S0" West along
the East line of the National Cemetery property a distance of 821.05 feet to the Northeast
corner (concrete monument) of the National Cemetery property; thence South 89 °44' West
along the North line of the National Cemetery property 377.1 feet (hole in rock wall); thence
North 00 °06' West 40.0 feet (' /z" re -bar); thence North 89 °44' East 40.0 feet from and
parallel with the North line of the National Cemetery property 408.61 feet to the West right -

the appurtenances thereto belonging.
And the City of Little Rock, hereby covenants with the said Grantee that it will forever
warrant and defend title to said lands against all claims whatsoever.
This deed is made to correct the name of the Grantee and to add certain alleys and
appurtenances described in this deed to the original conveyance, as found in the oriQinal deed filed
on record 94 20724 on March 21. 1994, and for no other purposes.
