A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE ARKANSAS
MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION,
HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION, HOUSING
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS,
MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM
COMMISSION, THE RIVERMARKET DESIGN
REVIEW COMMITTEE, AND THE LITTLE ROCK
WATER COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed or
reappointed as members of the respective Boards and Commissions:
(a) ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & HISTORY BD OF TRUSTEES
Ms. Melanie Francis Parham Fox, appointed to serve a three year term, beginning
January 1, 2000 and expiring December 31, 2002.
Mr. Tracy L. Steele, appointed to serve a three year term, beginning January 1,
2000 and expiring December 31, 2002.
Ms. Leighton Maestri Weeks, (Jr. League Rep.), appointed to replace Ms. Beth
Cousins, said term expiring June 1, 2000.
(b) CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION
Ms. Dottie Funk (At large), reappointed to serve a three year term expiring,
October 19, 2002.
Mr. Barry Jefferson (At large), appointed to serve a three year term, replacing Ms.
Molly Satterfield, said tern expiring October 19, 2002.
Mr. Tim Heiple (Landscape Architect), appointed to serve a three year term,
replacing Mr. David Roberts, said term expiring October 19, 2002.

(c) HISTORIC DISRTICT COMMISSION
Mr. Wyatt Weems, (Resident Property Owner), appointed to serve the unexpired
term of Ms. Judith Gardner, said term expiring June 15, 2001.

Ms. Jean Ann Phillips, ((Historic District Property Owner), appointed to serve a
three year term, replacing Mr. Charles Marratt, expiring June 15, 2002.
(d) HOUSING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT & APPEALS
Mr. Charles Johnson, Jr., appointed to serve a four year term, replacing Mr. Olan
Asbury, said term expiring August 1, 2003.
(e) MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION
Mr. Robert C. Hope, appointed to serve a two year term, replacing Mr. Wendell
Jones, said term expiring February 21, 2001.
Mr. Robert Orton, appointed to serve a two year term, replacing Mr. Maurice
Lewis, said term expiring February 21, 2001.
(f) RIVER MARKET DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Mr. Frank Porbeck, (RDM Property; Owners Association Representative),
reappointed to serve a three year term expiring August 6, 2002.
(g) LITTLE ROCK WATER COMMISSION
Mr. Craig Wood, reappointed to serve an Bight year term expiring October 31,
2007.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
