A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN
FOR ACQUISITION OF RIGHT- OF-WAY FOR FAIR PARK
BOULEVARD FROM ASHER AVENUE TO 30TH STREET, A TIP
PROJECT.

WHEREAS, attempts to acquire all right -of -way necessary for reconstruction
and/or widening of Fair Park Boulevard from Asher to 30th Street, a TIP Project, have
been unsuccessful; and
WHEREAS, we will continue to attempt to acquire the necessary properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete
acquisition of right -of -way for the reconstruction and/or widening of Fair Park Boulevard
from Asher Avenue to 30th Street, a TIP Project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account 215- 220 -0641.
