3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION TO THE U.S.
4 DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
5 (HUD) AN AMENDMENT TO THE HUD CONSOLIDATED PLAN
6 AND CDBG SECTION 108 LOAN FOR INFRASTRUCTURE
7 IMPROVEMENTS, REPLACING THE MADISON HEIGHTS
8 PROJECT WITH FOUR (4) EXISTING ELIGIBLE
9 INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS FROM THE REVENUE BOND
10 LIST.

12 WHEREAS, the proposal is consistent with the City's adopted
13 Citizen Participation Plan; and
14 WHEREAS, the CDBG Section 108 Loan Amendment for
15 infrastructure has met all regulatory requirements for submission to the
16 Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
17 WHEREAS, the 1999 Consolidated Planning Committee met and
18 recommended alternative infrastructure projects from the revenue bond
19 list for inclusion in the amendment; and
20 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 6, 1999, prior to Board
21 approval, and the amendment has been advertised for the 30 -day
22 comment period, giving the public every opportunity to review and
23 provide comments.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
25 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

1 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit to the U.S.
2 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) an amendment
3 to the HUD Consolidated Plan and Section 108 Loan for infrastructure
4 improvements replacing the Madison Heights Project with four (4) existing
5 eligible infrastructure projects from the Revenue Bond List. 484
6 SECTION 2. The four infrastructure projects are as follows:
7 11th Street (Park to Jones)
8 West 31" Street (Arch to State)
9 Plateau Ditch - Phase I
10 South Martin (West 13"' to West 17th)
11 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
12 after its adoption.
