A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER

TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH STERLING TRUCKS

OF ARKANSAS IN THE AMOUNT OF $167,247 FOR THE

PURCHASE OF TWO (2) MEDIUM DUTY TRUCK CHASSIS

FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND ONE (1)

MEDIUM DUTY CHASSIS WITH 12 CUBIC YARD BED FOR

THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

11 WHEREAS, this is a replacement purchase for (1) one 1984 and one (1) 1986 dump truck
12 (Public Works) that are utilized for heavy hauling in support of major street and drainage maintenance
13 programs and One (1) 1986 Dump truck (Parks and recreation) that is used for heavy hauling in
14 support of the Parks maintenance program.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Sterling Trucks
18 of Arkansas, in the amount of $167,852 for the purchase of two medium duty truck chassis for Public
19 Works and one medium duty chassis with a 12 cubic yard dump bed for Parks and Recreation.
20 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account number 600- 360- 6020 -6021-
21 7060 -10.
22 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
