3 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON JULY 20, 1999, ON THREE TARGETED
5 NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT PLANS (TNEP).

7 WHEREAS, the Targeted Neighborhood Enhancement Program (TNEP) was enacted by
8 State legislation in 1997, allowing cities to allocate local resources to address residential revitalization
9 in designated neighborhoods, following plan development and adoption; and
10 WI I EREAS, the State legislature requires a final public hearing prior to approving Targeted
11 Neighborhood Enhancement Plans (TNEP), which delineate conditions and potential resources to
12 support TNEP area activity.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1'1' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 SECTION 1. The Board ofDirectors will conduct a public hearing on July 20, 1999, during
16 the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors on the Targeted Neighborhood
17 Enhancement Program plans.
18 SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of this public hearing; in addition,
19 the City Manager is directed to assure that this public hearing is prominently advertised on the City's
20 cable television access channel.
