A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH JAMES TREE SERVICE INC.
AND ROGERS & DILLON EXCAVATION INC. FOR REMOVAL
OF TREE TRUNKS AND ROOT MASSES FROM 227 RESIDENTIAL
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE TORNADO DISASTER AREA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
James Tree Service Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount
not to exceed $69,400 for removal of all tree trunks and root masses from one -
hundred and seven (107) residential properties located within the disaster area
north of Roosevelt Road.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
Rogers & Dillon Excavation Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an
amount not to exceed $79,050 for removal of all tree trunks and root masses
from one - hundred and twenty (120) residential properties located within the
disaster area south of Roosevelt Road.
SECTION 3. Funding for this project is available from 210 - 220 -A283 -6081.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
