A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF 2.1
ACRES OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT TAYLOR
LOOP AND OAKS BLUFF DRIVE TO JOYLAN &
TIMBER, LLC, AND CHENAL WEST DEVELOPERS,
INC.
WHEREAS, the City originally planned to build the fire station on Oaks Bluff but
the neighborhood was very opposed to having a fire station across the street from their
homes; and
WHEREAS, the City ran an advertisement in the newspaper for two ten day periods
asking for a minimum bid of $45,000 and received only one bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute deeds selling
property owned by the City to the only bidders on the property, Joylan and Timber, LLC and
Chenal West Developers, Inc., for $47,500.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
