A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT SELF - EVALUATION
AUDIT AND TRANSITION PLAN, AS AMENDED MAY, 1999;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has drafted a Self Evaluation Audit and Transition Plan (the "Plan ")
as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. ( "ADA" ); and
WHEREAS, the Plan identifies handicapped access barriers and time lines for their removal;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in August 1995 on the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the plan has been amended since 1995 pursuant to settlement negotiations in
Coates n. Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the ADA requires the Board of Directors to formally adopt the Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors formally adopts the City's ADA Self- Evaluation Audit
and Transition Plan as amended May, 1999.
