10462RESOLUTION NO. 10,462 32 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND WOODRUFF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO TEMPORARILY LEASE TWO STRUCTURES FUNDED WITH HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS, LOCATED AT 2501 WEST 6T" AND 510 SOUTH MAPLE STREET AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO VICTIMS OF THE JANUARY 21, 1999 NATURAL DISASTER IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. WHEREAS; due to a natural disaster that occurred on January 21, 1999, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the City of Little Rock and Woodruff CDC desire to establish a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Little Rock and Woodruff CDC to allow Woodruff CDC to temporarily lease houses funded with HOME Investment Partnership Program funds, located at 2501 West 6th Street and 510 South Maple Street as affordable housing to victims of the January 21, 1999 natural disaster in the City of Little Rock. WHEREAS, notwithstanding the terms and conditions of this Memorandum of Understanding, all terms and conditions of the original Agreements dated December 28, 1995, and March 31, 1997 respectively, shall remain the same and in full force and effect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding to the Agreement with Woodruff CDC to allow the temporary leasing of units located at 2501 West 6'h Street and 510 South Maple Street as affordable housing to victims of the January 21, 1999 natural disaster.
